David's Log — Where do you stand on the Muslim Ban?

Still trying to wrap my head around how to be the best ally I can.

In the meantime, my partner and I will be joining protests in Brooklyn this afternoon and donating $1m across organizations working for justice in policing, starting with the NAACP LDF and The Policing Project.

Black lives matter.

Just wanted to add my congratulations and thank you to everyone at WordPress and Tumblr.

Matt is a visionary, and the team at WordPress has built something absolutely foundational to the Internet. What an amazing home and opportunity for Tumblr.

I don’t think I have anything to add that would be 1/1,000,000th as impactful as the stories women have been sharing this week. But please count me as one man standing with you in this fight.

Today I made a $1 million donation to Planned Parenthood. I urge more men to speak up and contribute. Women don’t get pregnant alone, and we owe them much more than our silent support in the political fight ahead.
