A handful of months ago I was hanging out with David, I think we were drunk, or I can only imagine we were, and he was showing me what the new redesign of Tumblr was going to look like. I remember how happy and excited he was, in that way where you know you’ve done something good, and I was so excited for him, (and for me to get to use it!), and how in awe of him I was (and still am!)— I remember thinking, oh my GOD, you MADE this thing, out of nothing, that I am obsessed with and love so unironically and unabashedly, that has gotten me writing again and feeling connected to people all over the world, that has brought me countless, priceless friends and LET’S BE HONEST HERE, is the first thing I check in the morning and the last thing I check at night (kinda like Meg Ryan and what’s his name in When Harry Met Sally, except instead of crying over the last scene in Casablanca with someone you love it’s…posting screenshots of the last scene of Casablanca, and telling thousands of people how you cried about it)
